Setting

This was our first Shadows AO since our dear leader Coco left us. Still in good spirits, though we miss his energy & enthusiasm.

Warmup

Usual cocktail of SSH, Imperial Walkers, ‘Mericans, Air Squats, shoulder work, and the like, followed by a leisurely mosey and some Hollywood-esque low squat holds.

The Thang

First time using coupons in a while at The Shadows, at least for the time YHC has posted there. Overall workout was simple: a sequence of moves with the block, followed by a lap on the track (somewhere in the neighborhood of a quarter to a half mile). Those in need of it could use a half lap. The block moves started as

5 Blockees
10 Tri Extensions
15 Presses
20 Squats
25 Big Boy Situps

and gradually morphed through the workout (as YHC saw fit) to

5 Murder Bunnies
10 Tri Extensions
15 Rows
20 Hammers
25 Kettle Block Swings

5 Minutes of Mary

A block version of the Guantanamo routine (i.e. holding the coupon overhead while Guantanamo work was ongoing).

Circle of Trust

The coupons made good seats for the PAX who were gassed at that point. Discussed upcoming events. Closed with a prayer for injured PAX and those not with us as they are still dealing with COVID in their households.
