We Dusted off a Coco Classic today – 5 Burpees Every Minute on the Minute at Copper Beach.
I’m not saying it was a cold day at the beach, but not only was the ground too hard to get the shovel flag in, but I could barely get it to go into the sand on the volleyball court (that by the way – is where Copper Beach gets its name).
And this dark morning might have started frosty and cold at 23 degrees, but by the end of this one, the PAX were shedding layers.
7 PAX defeated the FS and really got after it at Copper Beach.
LBAC IC x 10 forward, Jack Reacher IC varying speeds x 20, Michael Phelps IC x 10, and Angry Fonzies IC reverse x 10
Squats SC x 20
Mountain Climbers IC x 10
then…a treat for the PAX, we broke out the Kenny Loggins, for Danger Zone. SSH for the duration of the song (3 1/2 minutes), but every time the word “Danger Zone” was said, the PAX broke SSH and did a proper Squat. Gotta say, those squats were welcome relief.
PAX started on trail to the East of the Park and headed North. Then wrapped through the neighborhood loop to the West until we were back in the park, where we continue the mosey around the South end track – returning to the picnic tables.
Along the way, we ran a 60 second clock for some EMOM. Every time the buzzer went off, we dropped and did 5 Burpees and then resumed the mosey.
Have to say, through about 1.4 miles the PAX kept the pace and the speed of the burpees remained pretty consistent. Great Work.
Once back at the Park, we completed Two full founds of Aiken Legs (20 Squats, 20 Box Jumps, 20 Lunge Steps – each leg, and 20 Split Jacks)
and with that, the clock expired.

Great group this morning at CopperBeach – a few guys are streaking this week (posting everyday). Let’s keep it up!
Always a privilege to Q an F3 Workout. Even when I’m tired and running on fumes, nothing picks you up like some time in the Gloom with your brothers.
Lets go do hard things,
