I welcomed all the PAX to the first ever F3 SLC Squid Games!

The first event of the competitions was: Red Light Green Light

The caller at one end of the field is in a plank position hold while calling red light/green light.  The rest of the PAX try to make it to the end without getting caught.  For those unfortunate enough to not freeze, they were sent back to the start to do burpees until the next round.

The second event of the competitions was: Tug of War (F3 style)

PAX split into two teams, old farts vs new ones. Everyone lines up on the center line. One team on one side and the other team on the other side, both teams facing each other. A member of each team alternates at throwing the slam ball. Everyone moves to the latitude of the medicine ball by doing bear crawls and then later broad jumps. The team with the slam ball on the opposite side after all PAX  have thrown the ball is the winner. In our case, the old farts one by inches and were rewarded with a half lap of the field while the young farts did monkey humpers.

No PAX were eliminated in the competition today, so all were sent back to their dorms for the night. The only way to get to the dorms was by doing:

Perp Walk (5 never surrenders, convict walk (lunge walk with hands behind head, 5 each leg) to the next never surrender, repeat 6 times).

Back in the dorms, the PAX were allowed to lie down in their beds for the evening. This included some Mary of:

Little baby crunches

American hammers

Flutter kicks

Box cutters, and

Pickle pounders

After the Mary, the PAX were tuckered out for the day and allowed to retire into a: COT
