The BackBlast:

YHC had visions of a catchy-sounding ‘Triple-Double” workout with easy math and only 2 exercises.
The name and choosing the exercises proved to be easy.
The actual math and the execution of the prescribed number of reps… #notsoeasy.

Warmup
SSH (x26 IC) – I was momentarily distracted by QB’s emphatic SSH style…so we randomly ended on 26 (?!)
BWS (x 10 IC)
Merkins (x10 IC)
Burpees (x10 OYO)

The Thang
The PAX navigated across the street to hit the trail around Oquirrh Lake.  At certain spots around the lake we stopped for 2 easy exercises; slow-release merkins & burpees.

Stop #1: 3 slow-release merkins (IC) + 2 burpees.
Keep traveling…
(Here’s where the math kicks in.  Triple the merkins & double the burpees)
Stop #2: 9 slow-release merkins (IC) + 4 burpees.
Keep traveling…
Stop #3: 27 slow-release merkins (IC) + 8 burpees.
Keep traveling…
Stop #4: 81 slow-release merkins (IC) + 16 burpees.
(Since YHC hadn’t really calculated things this far… we choose to break these up into 4 sets).
Set 1: 20 slow-release merkins + 4 burpees.
Set 2: 20 slow-release merkins + 4 burpees.
Keep traveling…
Set 3: 20 slow-release merkins + 4 burpees.
Keep traveling…
Set 4: 21 slow-release merkins + 4 burpees.

By this point we had reached the final straightaway for our return to the AO.
The open street and twinkling stop lights in the distance called our name… so it was RYAO the whole way back.

Pending 2ndF suggestions to be floated out in Slack.  Be on the lookout…

Always a pleasure to be with you in the gloom.
Keep the focus on achieving that 1% improvement in the areas of your life that are most important.
