With the weather warning and insider trading-like forecast provided by Frostbyte, the PAX of F3 Salt Lake grabbed extra layers & gloves in preparation for the cooler, early-morning temps. YHC felt that the ‘bark’ of the 40 degree drop was worse that the actual bite, but the cooler temps are definitely a reminder of what’s to come in the near future.

BWS (x10) IC – These hurt…a reminder of the work we put in for IPC Wk2 yesterday at #elklodge

The 3 PAX took off for what YHC expected would be a short warmup lap around the upper loop, but turned out to be much longer than expected. It just served as more opportunity to explore the AO and enjoy the scenic view looking down on the valley below.
1st stop: lower parking lot
Burpee bear crawl ladder: At every (other) line in the parking lot, a burpee ladder was built.
1 burpee…bear crawl. 2 burpees…bear crawl. 3 burpees…you get the picture.
2nd stop: back to the start point under the covered pavilion
Burpee box jumps. AMRAP (5 mins). Burpee on the ground, box jump (or step up) to the bench or table top (way to set the bar QB!)
3rd stop: mosey down the hill to the playground
Burpee/pull-up/Top Gun combo
Burpee underneath the monkey bars; jump into a pull-up, then Top Gun (toes to bar). That’s one rep.
AMRAP (5 mins).
With 3 minutes left on the clock, we began the long, slow climb back to the top of the hill.
Reminder about the upcoming 9/11 stair climb at Bingham High School’s football stadium. 5:30am launch.
